The awards recognize the very best creative advertising and media agencies in Spain. The winning campaign is entitled Vive lo mejor de Sony ahora en un Smartphone (Live the best of Sony, now in a Smartphone). The awards ceremony will take place on the 24th of April.<p>PHD Spain has won a Silver award at the 45<sup>th</sup> Spanish AMPE Awards for its campaign with Sony Mobile. Carine Poot and Shona Read (pictured) were  shortlisted out of hundreds of entries after submitting a brief for children&#8217;s charity Barnardos and will now be one of just six teams to represent the UK. Shona Read said &#8220;We didn&#8217;t realise how much we had put into our idea until we started getting all the wonderful feedback from people here at PHD. Now that we are through we are super excited to have a chance to go to Cannes!&#8221; The final judging will take place on the 29th of April and the winners announced on the 6th of May. Lifebuoy&#8217;s mission was to save the lives of children dying from diarrhoea and pneumonia by promoting the importance of handwashing to one billion people by 2015. The campaign empowered millions of people worldwide to help every child reach the age of 5 by &#8216;pledging&#8217; their support. The innovative idea, developed by PHD International&#8217;s Global Strategy Unit, was to adopt the village of Thesgora (which has the highest number of diarrheal child deaths in India) and tell the story of its children through compelling content, using the handwashing message as a binding thread. The content included a short film called Gondappa ( image  above).
