For the third consecutive year, CMSPHD has won both the Media Campaign of the Year award and Grand Prix in the Estonian Media Awards.

The winning campaign was Hea Film’s “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”.  The campaign won the award for innovative use of media as well as Grand Prix.

 

In addition to media solutions which secured the maximum coverage of the target audience, like OOH and YouTube, CMSPHD and the client decided to spread the campaign to Tinder, where single people meet in real life. Tinder accounts were made for the 4 main characters from the movie, using descriptions and pictures from the movie itself.

 

For 10 days these accounts were positioned in different areas in Estonia and the characters acted as real Tinder users adding likes to as many people in the target group as possible. When a match was made Tinder users received a message explaining the campaign and its purpose. These messages were sent respectively in Estonian, Russian or English. The feedback from target group who received those messages was all positive.
