PHD’s strong analytical and digital expertise secures new four year contract with NSB.

In Autumn 2017 NSB (Norwegian State Railways) put out a quadruple tendering contract for an advertising agency, content agency, media agency and supplier of ‘other communications services’.

NSB Marketing Director Merete Møystad told Kampanje.com the group is now ready to meet the challenges of the future or at least the next four years.

“We have equipped ourselves for the competition. We have chosen partners to ensure we have both the right tools and the right people,” she said.

Since 2009, NSB’s media agency account has been with Carat, (renewed in 2013). Now NSB believes it is time for a change.

“We have been with Carat for eight years and they are good, but PHD were the best and won the competition. We know the possibilities offered by digitalisation through data management and customer-oriented dialogue will be key as we face competition in the area of rail freight. PHD has a strong analytical and digital competence that will help us in a media landscape going through major change,” explains Møystad.

“We are looking forward to working with the NSB Group and cooperating with such an important social player in an exciting time with competition and new consumer demands for mobility, information and dialogue. We believe the NSB Group has many exciting ideas on how to solve the tasks of the future, but we look forward to aiding their progression withal PHD has to offer, “said Marie-Louise Alvær, CEO of PHD Norway.

All three of NSB’s new agreements have been entered into for two years with an option of extension for a further two years.
