PHD today announces the appointments of Oliver Schoenfeld and Marie Louise Alvær to managing directors of PHD Switzerland and PHD Norway respectively.

With over 20 years’ experience in the media and communications industry, German born Oliver joins PHD from Clear Channel Switzerland, where he most recently held the role of marketing director and member of the board.  With experience spanning both creative and media, Oliver has held previous positions at ZenithOptimedia and Initiative, he is a member of the IAB focus group “Mobile Advertising”.

Marie Louise joins PHD from multi-platform network United Screens where she held the position of country manager, establishing their office in Oslo. Prior to her position at United Screens, Marie Louise held roles at Schibsted, SF Studios, RED Media Consulting where she was partner and Omnicom Media Group’s OMD where she was Client Director.

Speaking on both appointments, Ian Clarke, president of PHD EMEA said: “In line with expanding our network offering, we are delighted to welcome both Oliver and Marie Louise to PHD. Ian joined PHD in December last year from his position as CEO of Omnicom Media Group CEE succeeding Hilary Jeffrey as president of PHD EMEA. Hilary moved into the newly created role of EVP Worldwide, overseeing the integration and smooth running of new and existing key global clients.
