PHD UAE has received three shortlists at the 2015 Effie MENA Awards.

House of Lux:
Shortlisted in the Personal Care Products Category and Brand Experience Category
Our challenge was to find a way of extending the value of ‘House of Lux’ event, and find a way for thousands of consumers to attend this exclusive, limited ticket only live event.
In a Media First, the YouTube masthead and Google Display formats became live TV screens, allowing us to broadcast the event live across the region.
Aside from generating $1,234,886 earned media, Facebook Organic Page reach grew 104% on the day before/day of the event and 5,000+ new connections were made.
Shortlisted in the New Product / Service Category
In 2015 we were asked to help launch a new global range of butter products for Danish brand Lurpak.
The problem was though, people in the region don’t use butter like the they do in Europe, butter is used for sauces not for basting or pastry making- we had to find a way of making the Lurpak Cooks Range relevant to local consumers.
We took the global creative assets and reshot them using local brand ambassadors who skillfully weaved the brands into local cuisine using innovative recipes. This was supported by an initiative that invited hundreds of budding cooks to use the products at live cook-a-long.
The winners will be announced on the 18th of November at The Armani Hotel, Dubai.
