PHD UAE’s general manager Luca Allam was invited by the Pakistan Advertising Society to speak on key marketing trends and successful practices in digital media planning. Held on the 4th September at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore, Allam presented to an audience of 65 industry professionals, including managing directors and CEOs from Nestle, Unilever and other Pakistani enterprises. The session was organized to share key learnings from the successful partnership between PHD UAE and Unilever, with both Allam and Unilever’s Director of Media – North Africa and Middle East, Asad ur Rehman, featuring as keynote speakers.

In his seminar, Allam focused on the evolution of display advertising, from simple banner ads to the current state of programmatic media, as well as the key digital players – Google, Twitter and Facebook. He also touched on the importance of creating and distributing good content, and how to navigate the video content landscape in particular. Lastly, he also offered key indicators for the measurement of performance and business success.
