The winners have been announced for the 2015 Newsworks Planning Awards, which sees PHD UK named as one of the most awarded agencies of the night, winning two top prizes.
PHD UK picked up the Omnimedia Award for Mondelez International’s #OreoEclipse campaign. Commenting on the campaign, the judges said: “Newsbrands were central to this campaign, combining humour, innovation and impact. The idea brought to life a unique moment that utilised the strengths of each medium to deliver great results.”
A further award was won for Canon’s Touch to See campaign which picked up a Tablet Award. The judges said: “This campaign was really impressive because there was a clear piece of research to map the audience to the format itself, plus they used creative that would only work on tablets, which ultimately led to fantastic results!”
Additionally, PHD UK were shortlisted in the Best Topical Campaign and Best Use of Content categories for work for HBO, Mondelez International and Macmillan Cancer Support.
