PHD walked away with 6 Media Lions at Cannes and 23 Lions overall from a shortlist of 52

The Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity concluded a week of award announcements on Friday, spanning 26 categories, with PHD picking up 23 Lions across the board from 52 shortlisted entries.

In the Media Lions category, PHD picked up more awards than any other network, with work from Canada, Taiwan, USA, Belgium and Peru receiving metal for campaigns for clients VIA Rail, Skoda, Scotiabank, Telenet, HBO and Gap Inc’s Old Navy brand, which was the only agency to be awarded in the Retail category, reflecting the high benchmark that the Cannes Lions awards set for the industry.

Outside of the Media category, PHD Puerto Rico was awarded a Bronze ‘Brand Experience & Activation’ Lion while Touche!PHD Canada took home a Bronze Creative Data Lion, both as entrant agency.

Across the other categories, PHD was credited for media excellence, contributing to multiple wins, including a Grand Prix.
