Q. What is it like to work at PHD?
Working at PHD doesn’t feel like working, I’ve never been at a place quite like it. Sometimes you feel like you’re a creative; brainstorming concepts or user journeys, and other times in a strategic consultant’s role; building comms architecture and brand metrics, with a generous helping of science and tech applied for good measure. All rolled up, that may be your Tuesday afternoon.
It’s a fast paced company where a tribes of smart, tech savvy, and positive people collaborate and challenge each other to produce great work.
Q. What does finding a better way mean to you?
It means not defaulting to a “this worked before I’ll repeat it again and hope for the best” but rather finding the best solution. You do this by going above and beyond and putting the clients first, this is in our DNA and if it was easy everyone would do it.
Q. What would you say to someone joining PHD?
Do you want to work in an environment that will challenge you to be the best? Want to work with people that you can learn, share and discuss your opinion with? An open door policy with anyone, at any level? Then you’ve made the right decision and you’re going to love it here! Just don’t f*** it up and I’ll see you at the pub.
Q. What is the best bit about your job?
Traditionally the “numbers guys” sit in a dark room behind laptop screens, they speak to no one, have lots of data at their disposal and at the end of a campaign they produces some charts.
At PHD we do things differently, this is the best part about PHD’s approach to planning, we understand that data means nothing unless you’re making actionable recommendations and connecting all of the dots. Analytics is involved end to end and we can help shape the input and outcome. My job is to keep things simple and smart; which means we provide our clients with clarity and strategic thinking that puts Data, Analytics and Insight at its core, I love what I do.
