Tuesday December 12th was an evening to remember as PHD China was crowned Campaign Asia-Pacific’s ‘Media Agency of the Year’ for 2018, in recognition of the agency’s incredible success over the past 12 months.
To accept the accolade at the annual Agency of the Year Awards for Greater China in Shanghai, were PHD China’s CEO, Anna Chitty, accompanied by 20 staff from the agency.
Commenting on the win, Chitty said: “I couldn’t be prouder of our hardworking team of PHDers, as well as our amazing and supportive clients, who motivate us every day to continue to create, innovate and Find a Better Way.”
The latest win tops off another fantastic year for PHD China, following the Mumbrella Asia APAC Agency of the Year title being bestowed on the agency for the second consecutive year in November. It also adds to the 26 other awards bestowed on the agency over the past 12 months, including ‘Best in Show’ at the Mobile Marketing Association’s Global Smarties for the Lifebuoy campaign, ‘24 Hour Doctor’. PHD China’s tremendous success at both local and international awards shows in 2017 resulted in the agency being named the fourth most-awarded media agency in the world – and first in China – by the 2018 Gunn Media 100 earlier this year.
Now in its 25th year, Campaign’s Agency of the Year Awards celebrate the people, the work and the businesses achieving outstanding success in the industry, and we were delighted to be recognized by the industry for our efforts. PHD China’s win contributes to the network’s overall success at these Awards, being named a ‘Media Agency of the Year’ by Campaign Asia-Pacific in seven APAC markets in 2018.
