The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) has revealed Eileen Ooi as their new vice president, alongside REV Media Group’s Nicholas Sagau Tony Ngimat as president.
MDA was established in 2009 and has hosted several successful projects and activities such as Digital Wednesday, as well as offering networking opportunities for local publishers, media agencies and advertisers. The MDA’s primary focus is to grow the digital advertising space and deliver a single standard currency of measurement of Malaysian internet traffic. The MDA is managed by an elected council of 12 members, including the president and vice president.
Joining Ooi and Sagau are 10 additional council members from 16TWO Communication Labs, Astro Radio, Carat Media, Google Malaysia, Mediabrands, Mudah.my, Nuffnang, Rev Social Malaysia and Star Media Group.
Ooi commented on her elected role: “It is an honour to take on the position of vice president. I look forward to continuing to elevate MDA’s role in making the leap in Malaysia’s digital industry.”
