Instagram has introduced clickable ads in the news feed. For the moment it is only available through its multi-photo carousel, where brands can tell a story. In the end the user can click the “learn more” button. This will open up am internal browser, allowing the user to easily get back to Instagram.
From a media agency perspective it will be interesting to follow the results based on more engagement from the user. In the autumn 2013 Instagram introduced sponsored photos but these were not clickable.
