PHD UK picked up the award for Best Automotive Sector Social Media Strategy/Campaign at The Drum Social Buzz Awards. The winning campaign saw a partnership between Audi UK and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards to run sponsored in-stream video ads – a first for Audi UK.

Using the Twitter sponsored ads, Audi UK aired 10 six-second promotional videos of the new Audi A8 live through BAFTA’s Twitter feed. The clips showed high-profile celebrities arriving to the prestigious event in Audi A8s. The ads achieved an 84% completion rate and delivered over 2.2 million ad completions.
