PHD has been appointed by Ferrero to manage their media account in emerging markets, including Southeast Asia, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Africa, selected European countries as well as the UAE. The brief involves all media planning and buying duties for the world’s biggest producer of chocolate, whose brands include Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder and Raffaello.

A spokesperson for Ferrero said: “Our goal was to find the right media agency partner, leveraging the unique scale of the emerging area to drive brand growth… After an extensive pitch, Ferrero has opted for PHD (Omnicom Media Group). We expect to be able, through our agency partner PHD, to communicate through an innovative media strategy in an integrated and effective manner to the consumers in the area.”

This is another triumph for PHD UAE, adding to an already successful first half of 2015 with regards to new business wins in the region.
