1995 Jyoti entered the media agency world at Lintas Worldwide, Mumbai. Worked on the biggest brands in India at the time including Bajaj Auto, J&J Baby, Clinic Plus, Maruti Suzuki.

2001 She moved to the dotcom world with webdunia.com, Indian vernacular portal to head Research and web-based insights and New product development.

2002 Then she shifted back into media with MediaCom to lead the Marico business. Also that year she won a shortlist for Emirates @ Cannes _ India’s 1st in media.

2005 She joined Havas Media as Mumbai Head to take on the fledgling operation and grew it to a robust stable offering over the next 4 years. Also she added South operations to her responsibilities and helped launched Bloomberg UTV in India and India’s 1st non-music youth channel Bindass.

2009 Omnicom Media Group appointed Jyoti as the New Business Lead. Over the next 4 years, the agency grew business 3.5X adding large clients like Unilever, Sony Networks, Ferrero, Renault Nissan, HTC, and more. The agency led R3 new business league tables consistently under her stewardship.

2013 PHD was launched in India with Jyoti at the helm.

2014 PHD India in its 1st year of operation, won 3 Gold Lions at Cannes for Kan Khajura Tesan and Jyoti’s team was christened the Youngest Lion Hunters in the country by Economic Times Brand Equity. Won accolades at every major award show locally, regionally and globally, as well as accolades at Campaign Agency of the Year

2015 Under Jyoti’s leadership, PHD continues its award run. It was named the 2nd best media agency in the world by WARC, and won the Campaign Agency of the Year Award again, cementing its place in the media landscape in India.
