• PHD Kenya helped grow Standard Chartered ‘mortgage and Business Working Capital portfolio through a 360 degree campaign aimed at generating and converting real leads.
  • The idea at the heart of the campaign was to partner with companies that offer furnishing and finishing and use this as a hook to get as many people to sign up. When it comes to Mortgages, saving up for a good furnished house is usually a challenge as there isn’t enough left after paying ones monthly payment.
  • We struck a partnership deal with Tiles and Carpet and Hotpoint to provide electronics and soft furnishing at between 15-50% discount for anyone that signed up for the mortgage or BWC product. This was complemented by Standard Chartered’s100% financing on these products. We had a fully furnished model houses built and set up in 6 key malls as part of the OOH which also were used as conversion points. We used radio and Print to further amplify the offer with clear CTA.
  • The campaign was a huge success, with over 10 Million dollar benchmark met and surpassed. This is in spite of the government interest rate cap that was generally affecting the industry negatively. The mortgage product continues to grow.
