Programmatic+ Account Director

Reporting directly into a Business Director, the Programmatic+ Account Director will be tasked with leading client accounts (such as Chanel, Red Bull and Princess Cruises) and managing client relationships in the display and programmatic space.

  • You will also assist the BD with managing client relationships and communication around display campaigns, inductions and client roadmaps
  • Ensure team are adhering to processes to deliver brilliant basics across all channels. Assist BD with any supporting documents on best practice
  • Deliver best practice brand safety and ad-verification, delivering to target KPI’s and building on learnings for each client
  • Support the BD’s and Head of Display to deliver trading deals, programmatic and OMG product targets
  • Support the team with their knowledge of clients first, second and third party data sets for Programmatic plans
  • Ensure team have in-depth knowledge on inventory and data opportunities across each DSP

This is a perfect opportunity to become a strong leader within the agency. By keeping abreast of developments in across display and the programmatic landscape, you will constantly encourage integration of other digital channels whilst also driving development programmes for your team.

You will also get the chance to spot growth opportunities for additional PHD services outside of display to help drive revenue for the agency as well as upskill your own expertise in digital with the likes our newly launched Digital Academy training platform.

Sitting within the Programmatic+ team, you will get to work collaboratively with each other as well as teams, such as content to spot more opportunities for both personal and business growth.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be in an Account Manager or Group Account Manager looking to take the next step up in your career. You will have a background in Display, used to running a high performing team, operationally very strong, with the ability to orchestrate a team to ensure deadlines are met and the work produced is of the highest standard. You will possess strong technical knowledge of the programmatic marketplace and a history of developing trust and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Knowledge and experience required

  • Microsoft Office 365 proficient (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Hive etc)
  • Significant display experience, having executed campaigns in this channel
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the programmatic marketplace
  • Senior management experience
  • Working knowledge of Teams, Hive and DCO
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Practical and operational knowledge of Demand Side or equivalent trading platforms, preferably with display experience
  • Experience in management of a team with ability to set personal development plans, lead and encourage the best out of people
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with media, data and technology partners and work collaboratively to meet shared goals
  • Confidence in presenting and educating on programmatic concepts and strategies
  • Experience in developing business cases and recommendations across team and client needs

  • Excellent people skills with history of developing trust and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams alike
  • Confident presenter and storyteller
  • Must have capacity to work under pressure and be self-motivated
  • You will be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills & work well in a team as well as independently
  • Have strong organisational skills, and be able to manage multiple projects at once
