Social Media Manger

Reporting directly into Social Media Director, you will be responsible for developing social media strategies, ingrained in insight, and that ladder back to PHD’s client’s business and campaign objectives.

As part of your remit, you will also find ways to grow current client investment in social platforms through testing and ultimately deliver successful results.

The opportunity

This is a perfect opportunity to showcase your knowledge and skills in the world of social media. You will be the first point of contact for your clients on social platforms and will be fielding their questions, as well as getting the chance to proactively approach them with new opportunities.

The people

Sitting within the highly skilled social team, you will get to work collaboratively with each other as well as the planning and buying teams across the agency and Omnicom Media Group.

There are also many opportunities to engage with more people across the agency outside of your work remit by getting involved with the activities and initiatives of our agency experience team.

The Ideal Candidate

The person we’re looking for will have a clear understanding of online social metrics and a thorough understanding of the impact of social on client campaigns and objectives. You’ll have the ability to establish client friendly and efficient processes to manage expectations and agency workflow and have the skills to support, train and delegate to the wider social team.

Knowledge and experience required

  • Ability to induct clients into PHD re what we do in social advertising, digital planning and explain other departments
  • Ability to understand clients’ business to drive conversations with senior clients and media owners/suppliers to deliver our commercial agenda
  • Be able to confidently take a front-of-house role in new business pitches, and work productively both with pitch and marketing teams
  • Exhibit excellent presentation skills to clients
  • Be proactive on accounts to ensure we are challenging clients and are ahead of the game in social.
  • Ability to influence clients through all verbal and written communication
