With the rise of entrepreneurship and start-up culture, the landscape of airline travel is shifting. For many young entrepreneurs, traveling has motivated and shaped the ideas by which they have built their businesses and passions. Because individuals secure loyalty to an airline early on in his or her career, it’s important for airlines to build relationships with travelers early.

In an effort to connect with young business travelers, PHD partnered Delta Air Lines with VICE to create the Delta Launchpad, a festival of inspiration traveling through the cities of New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle. The travel-inspired platform showcases careers and creative process within film, music, and food culture.

In New York, music lovers are inspired through performances and workshops. In Los Angeles, the pre to post-production filmmaking process is followed. In Seattle, the path to pursuing a culinary career is explored. Events are being promoted through influencer activation with appearances from industry professionals including Ethan Tobman, Production Designer of “Room” and music professionals from Atlantic Records, Awful Records, and others.
