PHD Group New Zealand has been recognised as the 8th most awarded media agency in the world in the WARC Media 100 – the only New Zealand media agency to feature in the Top 10. Formerly the Gunn Media 100, the WARC Media 100 is an independent annual ranking in the world’s most awarded campaigns and companies for creativity and innovation in media.
Additionally, PHD’s DB Export Beer Bottle Sand campaign ranked in the top five most awarded campaigns and the Spark Santaline campaign was placed 30th on the list.
Nikki Grafton, chief executive officer of PHD New Zealand said, “We are thrilled to be recognised in the Media 100. It is a testament to PHD’s unique challenger approach and ethos of Finding a Better Way for our clients. We are fortunate to have a world-class team with amazing creativity and innovation, technical skill, strategic smarts, talent and work ethic at PHD New Zealand – I couldn’t be prouder.”
At a network level, PHD Worldwide retained its ranking as the 2nd most awarded media network globally. Notably, PHD agencies featured more times in the Top 100 than any other network, with a total of nine offices ranking – Montreal, Auckland, New York, London, Shanghai, Sydney, Toronto, Dubai and Global Business – while PHD campaigns appeared three times in the Top 10 most awarded campaigns.
A benchmark for media excellence, the WARC Media 100 is compiled by tracking the performance of campaigns, brands and agencies at the most important advertising media competitions around the world.
