PHD New Zealand and PHD Hong Kong have secured 14 nominations between them in the Tangrams Effectiveness@Spikes Awards.
PHD New Zealand is shortlisted in eight categories under Media Strategy and Digital Strategy for their work with DB Export, Skinny Mobile, Newshub and Genesis Energy.
Their work with DB Export creating beer bottle sand was shortlisted for Media Strategy: Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco, Media Strategy: Integrated Use of Media and Media Strategy for National Brand Development.
PHD’s campaign to create the best ‘Freekend’ Christmas ever with Skinny Mobile was also shortlisted for Integrated Use of Media, along with Financial Services, Commercial Public Services, Business Products & Services.
Under Digital Strategy, PHD New Zealand received two nominations for their work with Newshub in the categories Digital Strategy: Publications & Media and Digital Strategy: Digital Innovation. They were shortlisted in Digital Strategy: Digital Innovation once more for their ‘Reading more than the weather’ campaign with Genesis Energy.
PHD Hong Kong is also representing the APAC region with an additional seven Tangrams nominations. The ‘Rexona’s data-driven drama, resolves a social stench’ campaign with Rexona Men earned them nominations in the categories of Media Strategy: Digital Media, Digital Strategy: Video, Digital Strategy: Data Storytelling and Digital Strategy: Multiple Data Sourcing / Merging.
Another two nominations follow under Digital Strategy: Digital Innovation and Data & Analytics: Innovation Use of Data Technology for their work with the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
The Tangrams are Asia Pacific’s foremost awards honouring clients and their agencies for marketing strategies that deliver solid results to transform businesses and brands.
Winners will be announced at the annual Spikes Awards, taking place in Singapore this year from 26 – 28 September.
