PHD Australia today announced the promotion of Alex Pacey, who will be expanding his role to Chief Product Officer at PHD Australia. In his newly promoted position, he will be charged with driving the strategic product of the agency, servicing a wide range of clients in addition to his planning remit. This new appointment positions the agency to drive continued growth across Australia which continues to be a core business hub for the APAC region.
Pacey has been instrumental in the accelerated growth of PHD Australia and supporting the agency’s clients including Unilever, Google and Fitness and Lifestyle Group. He has elevated the work of PHD across the industry and most recently, he played a pivotal global role in developing PHD’s unique marketing platform, Omni Studio; a live workflow environment which brings together proprietary and third-party applications for strategists and account teams.
Pacey will report directly into PHD Australia’s Managing Director, Stuart Bailey. Commenting on the promotion, Bailey said, “Alex is one of the most talented, strategic thinkers I have ever worked with. He has the support and respect of the strategic and planning community due to his dedication to the development and growth of our product, our clients and our people.”

Alex Pacey has almost 15 years’ experience in the advertising industry, having worked with some of the world’s and Australia’s most-respected blue-chip brands. Before joining PHD, he was General Manager at Ikon Communications, a marketing and advertising agency in Sydney. As Chief Product Officer, Pacey will develop and strengthen PHD Australia’s product offering.
