PHD China today announced the promotion of Lars Bjorge to chief digital officer, Greater China. Lars joined PHD in 2011 as head of digital strategy and under his leadership PHD China’s digital planning business has seen rapid growth in both volume and quality. Lars has also helped to lead the development of digital specialist capabilities such as search, programmatic, social, mobile and measurement analytics that has further expanded PHD’s offering in China.
In his new position, Lars will increase his responsibilities to include overseeing digital operations in Hong Kong and Taiwan along with mainland China. Lars said, “PHD’s heritage as an innovation-led agency is even more important in this era of rapid technology driven change. I look forward to working more closely with the Greater China teams on integrating specialist skillsets. We have a great opportunity in the region and I’m excited by the challenge.”
