Young talent from PHD International represented the agency at last week’s IAA PAC (Participate-Associate-Communicate) training course at Merton College in Oxford.
The annual three-day residential advertising course, produced by the IAA Young Professionals, is a highly regarded international media training course designed to stimulate debate, discussion and communication whilst developing a greater understanding of the advertising process – from the client, agency and media owner perspective – for media and marketing executives, planners and representatives.
The PAC format revolves around a leading international client who sets a live brief which has to be answered by each syndicated group.
These groups, made up of 7-9 delegates, assume the role of an advertising agency. The three days are spent listening to leading figures in the industry present and preparing their response with these learnings in mind. At the end of the seminar each group presents their solution to a panel of judges.
PHD International’s Eider Ayestaran (senior planner), Niav Watters (senior planner) and Alexandra Shetcliffe (strategist) were recognised in the following categories: Alexandra’s team “best teamwork”, Niav’s team “best team” and “best use of mobile” and Eider’s team “best use of data”.
Congratulations to all three of our participants. You can find more information on the IAA PAC event here.
