PHD Ireland had a lot to celebrate this year, starting with the agency being awarded the coveted “Agency of the Year” accolade at the Media Awards 2015 back in April. This summer saw the global launch of PHD’s latest publication “Sentience: The Coming AI Revolution and the Implications for Marketing”, whilst the PHD network celebrated turning 25, having opened its doors in London in 1990.
In true PHD style, Jason Nebenzahl and Sandra Alvarez (PHD Ireland’s managing director and deputy managing director) wanted to celebrate the agency’s success with every member of the agency, along with clients and media partners. The event was hosted at the Teeling Distillery which is run by the husband of Gemma Teeling, PHD Ireland’s head of client services. Guests enjoyed a specially created PHD cocktail whilst catching up with old friends and learning a bit more about what has allowed PHD Ireland to differentiate itself amongst its media agency peers.
PHD’s worldwide CEO, Mike Cooper, attended the event to show his support and congratulations to the team but also to introduce the audience to Sentience, PHD’s latest publication, which provides a comprehensive history of AI – what it is, where is started and the road leading to today – and builds a picture of ‘the future of intelligence’, offering a peek into the AI-driven world of 2029 and the implications of AI enabled marketing.
