PHD Italy has joined ‘Vivi 3 Giorni da Manager’, created in collaboration with the Department of Business Economics and the Office of Internships and Traineeships of the University of Verona. The intention is to give selected graduates the opportunity to learn specific skills through the experience of three days of work at the side of a manager.
In addition to PHD, there are several companies that have joined the Veronese initiative. At the conclusion of the programme, in January 2019, there will be an event and a final briefing in which both the students and the managers will be involved for an exchange of ideas and points of view on the experience.
Sarà Paola Aureli, General Manager of PHD Italy’s Verona office, will participate in the initiative by mentoring two young talents, to help them understand a work environment and what a manager does, and to transfer useful skills to aid with their professional future.
“The goal,” says Aureli, “will be to transfer all the enthusiasm for our work, as well as the values that distinguish our company. It will be just a few days, but it’s a concentrated look at the dynamics of relationships, group work, responsibilities and risks. It is a commitment, but also a ‘fast’ project that allows us to grow and communicate with the leaders of the near future.”
