Exclusive interviews with female contributors from the world of science and technology discussing AI, robotics, data science and machine learning.
PHD Italy launches the editorial project ‘AI Loves Women’ with the aim of stimulating and amplifying the true reflection of female contribution to innovation in terms of representativeness, visibility and authority.
“The mathematical models of communication will soon allow computers to collaborate with people even in difficult situations.” (Silvia Ferrari, head of the Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Controls (LISC) of Cornell University)
“Like other technologies, robots will also be built in order to have an increasingly more intituitive interaction with human beings.” (Cecilia Laschi, Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the BioRobotics Institute of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa)
Other contributors to the project are Chiara Burberi, co-founder and CEO of redooc.com, an innovative digital teaching platform dedicated to “stem” subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Federica Gregori, co-founder and CEO of MetaLiquid, among the first start-ups in the world that deal with video content analysis.
“AI Loves Women” is the continuation of “AI Revolution”, the first cycle of interviews dedicated to the world of AI, which had contributions from, among others, Jay Elliot, former executive VP and HR manager of Apple; Riccardo Staglianò, journalist, writer and author of “Al posto tuo – Così web e robot ci stanno rubando il lavoro”; and Mark Holden, Global Strategy & Planning Director PHD Worldwide, principal author of PHD publications, including “Sentience: The Coming AI Revolution and the Implications for Marketing” and the latest “Merge – The closing gap between technology and us”.
We live in a historical moment in which the technological revolution dominates the world and companies’ investment in AI grows exponentially. How should we prepare ourselves to better face this revolution? What skills, talents, visions should we cultivate? With “AI Loves Women”, PHD adds a new piece to the exploration of a very close future.
