The Investment Community, responsible for the buying delivery, is the executional interface with all ‘media owner’ partners. As such this division is responsible for bringing ideas and plans to life and ensuring their delivery against strategic and communication objectives. This community is therefore tasked with creating a recognised market-leading position in trading and media-owner relations.
You will be at the centre of creating market leading ideas for our clients and will also be the executional interface with all ‘media owner’ partners in the broadest sense.
As Investment Manager you are responsible for the stewardship of the investment process and media buying delivery across your brand portfolio.
The role encompasses:
Deployment and management of all appropriate PHD investment processes, templates & systems across your brand portfolio.
Buying / investment across all media channels.
Stewardship / training / guidance of the junior members of the team to ensure their buys deliver on all of the strategic and communication objectives.
Ensuring all deliverables are executed and met within tolerance – including delivery of all strategic and buying objectives (including to budget and to target CPTs/CPMs), placement / positioning, added value, concession utilisation, etc.
Point of view and input in the development of media implementation presentations and plans in conjunction with the Planning team.
Active involvement in PHD’s core ideas development process.
Deliver ideas for your client/s that have been identified in the strategic process.
Ensure team are driving value for your clients in any day to day negotiations with the media, including evaluating and analysing proposals and monitoring the delivery.
Work in conjunction with the Group Trading Director and Investment Director on the development of negotiation strategies.
Training, mentoring & development of junior team members in conjunction with the Investment Director.

Tertiary qualified with 3+ years of relevant media experience with strong media buying experience
Advanced media landscape and communication channel knowledge
Insight and media strategy creation skills
