PHD most awarded agency at Canada’s Media Innovation Awards 2019

PHD Canada picking up their wins at the Media Innovation Awards

PHD Canada (PHD and Touché!) swept away the competition at this year’s Media Innovation Awards in Toronto as the most awarded agency, scooping eight Golds, 10 Silvers and six Bronzes.

The Media Innovation Awards honour the great and growing role media plays in the marketing mix and those responsible for the selection, deployment and implementation of breakthrough media programmes.

PHD picked up three Golds and one Silver for Tangerine’s ‘Activating Raptors’ campaign, while Touché! picked up one Gold, three Silvers and one Bronze for Sport Chek’s ‘Digital Window Shopping’ campaign. PHD Canada won with many of their other clients, including BRP, Hydro-Quebec, Radio-Canada, Birks, Brunet, Quebec Literacy Foundation and Quebec Milk Producers.

As well as group success, there was individual recognition for Antoine Nguyen, Touché!’s Audience Strategy Supervisor. Nguyen took home the New Establishment: Media award, recognised not only for his insights and contributions to Sport Chek’s revered ‘Digital Window Shopping’ campaign, but also for his dedication to the craft of audience planning.

Omnicom Media Group’s President, Karine Courtemanche, was co-chair of the Media Innovation Awards 2019.
