April 2003 Malcolm joined digital specialist, i-level, as a Planning Director and lead accounts such as BskyB and Next.

October 2009 Malcolm joined Arena Media as Head of Digital Innovation, where he helped build their Data & Analytics, and Social Media divisions.

March 2012 Malcolm joined PHD Worldwide in London as a Global Strategy Director for the GSK global communications planning account, where he manages the media and comms strategy for all of GSK’s global consumer brands.

Malcolm contributed to building PHD’s global gamified planning system, Source, and has co-authored books on brands’ challenger behaviour (Overthrow: 10 Ways to Tell a Challenger Story, 2012); gamification (Game Change, 2013); and artificial intelligence (Sentience: The coming AI Revolution and the Implication for Marketers, 2015).
