1984 Mike started working in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi in London.
1989 He moved to Hong Kong to work as a media director.
1991 It wasn’t long before he was appointed CEO for Saatchi in Hong Kong…
1993 and two years later was also put in charge of North Asian markets.
1995 He moved to CNBC Asia, where he was in charge of sales, distribution and marketing.
1997 Then joined Omnicom as OMD’s first employee, responsible for launching the new network in Asia-Pacific. As CEO for OMD Asia Pacific he grew the network to 26 offices and was recognised as being one of the top two media specialists in Asia Pacific.
2005 Eight years later, he launched PHD across the Asia Pacific region, and was named Media Magazine’s ‘Regional Agency Head of the Year for Asia’.
2007 Mike returned to London to become PHD’s Worldwide CEO. So far he has grown the network to over 80 offices.
2014 Under Mike’s leadership PHD picked up close to 500 awards for its client work, 25 ‘Agency of the Year’ accolades and was named ‘Media Network of the Year 2014’ by Spikes Asia, Campaign Asia and Cristal.
2015 Mike has been the driving force behind PHD’s success, which saw the network named by Campaign ‘Media Network of the Year’.
