Mike Cooper, CEO of PHD Worldwide, has been confirmed as one of the global leaders set to come together to debate the future role of agencies at this year’s Festival of Media Global in Rome.
Festival of Media Global 2015 will take place at the Waldorf Astoria Rome on 10th to 12th May, with the event exploring how media is impacting on consumers’ lives and driving global business.
Joining Mike will be Alfonso Rodés Vilà, deputy CEO of Havas and CEO of Havas Media Group and Jim Elms, global CEO at Initiative and together they will speak on the topic of the ‘new agency model’.
In the new world order, media agencies are having to adapt to a changing consumer, a more tech savvy world and a demanding client determined to squeeze prices and offerings. Mike, Alfonso and Jim – among others – will discuss how agencies stop clients going directly to media owners, and what agencies might look like in five years’ time.
Panel sessions at Festival of Media Global 2015 will tackle a range of topics, from the changing nature of news to the importance of creativity to programmatic media. Further speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
The Festival of Media Global is a forum for senior level executives from the world’s biggest brands, marketing and media agencies, where they will come together for three days to network and learn about the latest trends and techniques in the industry.
