1996 Simon left the UK and moved to the newly formed Optimum Media office in Budapest, Hungary, where he managed key regional accounts such as Pepsi, Levi’s and SCA Mölnlycke.
2004 Simon left Europe and the Omnicom group for ZenithOptimedia Australia where he led the largest advertiser in the market, Telstra.
DATE Later in his Australian career Simon successfully steered 20th Century Fox through a global review leading to retention of the account in Australia and expansion of the relationship into North America.
DATE 3 years after arriving in Sydney, Simon was tempted back to Europe to take on the leadership role in PHD.
2007 Simon joined PHD Hungary as Managing Director. During his time there, the company was the only agency able to achieve growth every single year in a turbulent market.
DATE In his last year at PHD Hungary, they became the most awarded media agency and maintained a near perfect staff retention record.
2009 At the end of 2009 Simon founded one of the first OMD Digital offices in the network, achieving a series of market and regional firsts including bringing the likes of Vodafone and McDonalds online.
2013 Simon became Managing Director for PHD Central and Eastern Europe.
