Netflix to launch in AU
After much anticipation, Netflix the US based movie and TV subscription streaming service will launch in Australia and New Zealand in March 2015. The pricing for the service is yet to be determined but there is already competition with competitor STAN and FOXTEL vying for subscribers. Australian users will be able to sign-up for a one month free trial then move onto Netflix’s three-tiered pricing plans, which include options to stream “standard definition video, high-definition and 4K ultra-HD, to one or more screens at a time. It will be interesting to see if these new streaming services will affect traditional TV viewership. Read more.

Patents suggest a headset much like a pair of goggles connected to a hardware pouch that will project images to your eye for immersive augmented reality.
