While the battle for Net Neutrality rages on stateside, MEPs voted to reject fast tracking the EU Copyright Directive, a major victory in maintaining an open internet. MEPs also voted to suspend the EU-US Privacy Shield from September unless the US pull their socks up where data protection for EU citizens is concerned, which would make for interesting times for companies that operate both sides of the pond.
