Job Description

In the role of the Planning Director your key objective is to set and lead the planning for your Client’s campaigns, to support the Business Director to inspire the Manager and Executives.

The role encompasses:

Strategic media development: Lead the media strategy development process in conjunction with the strategy team when appropriate

Origination of the Communications Plan: The creation of channel plans that build from the core media idea

Client relationship management: the principal client contact for the whole planning process.

Identification and management of creative / innovative media initiatives that are born out of the strategic media direction.

Responsible for working with Investment team to ensure com’s framework is executed accurately

Ensuring all media goals and strategies are achievable and executable within budgets using support of investment.

Experience

6+ years relevant media experience in a media agency
Insight and media strategy involvement
Client liaison experience
Knowledge of all media and media owners
Proven ability to lead the development of insights and creative communication solutions
Proven ability to lead the planning process
Ability to be the principal client contact for the whole planning process.
Ability to create and own planning and admin processes.
Ability to see opportunities for collaboration, to include SBU’s as a means of driving additional revenue.
Ability to clearly brief and articulate client goals to media owners to deliver best in market responses
Ability to train and mentor Managers and Execs on all abilities listed here
