Finally, after two virtual award ceremonies, this year the Deutscher Mediapreis (German Media Prize) was hosted at the Kammerspiele in Munich and the coveted prize ball was awarded.
One of the big winners of the evening was PHD Germany.
For the first time in its history, PHD succeeded in winning the most important German media award. Even the shortlist nomination of 6 cases was a great success.
Therefore, the joy was even greater when PHD was able to win 3 categories.

- Best Media Idea Print – IDM Südtirol-Aldo Adige
- Best Media Idea Content Marketing – Volkswagen
- Best Media Idea Audio – ALDI
In total, more than 150 submissions in the categories of media strategy and media idea faced the jury at this year’s competition, which aims to promote creative media planning and make successful campaign examples known to a professional audience, including companies such as Hugo Boss, Audi, Vodafone and McDonalds.
And the pleasure was not only evident to the winners:
After two years, the media industry met again live and not only celebrated the award-winning campaigns and the strategic and creative minds behind them, but also enjoyed networking again.
The winners were finally able to receive their Media Award globes in person again and in the festive setting of the award gala.
