B&T has unveiled its annual list of the most powerful women in Australia’s media industry, with PHD Australia’s joint Managing Director, Lucy Formosa Morgan making the long list.
B&T’s Women in Media Awards recognises exceptional people who have achieved success in their professional areas. The Women in Media Power List will be passed on to a panel of judges, who will choose a top 30 to be revealed at the Women in Media Awards ceremony.
Promoted from Chief Investment Officer to joint MD in January 2020, Formosa Morgan has been instrumental in scooping a number of recent accolades for PHD, including PHD Sydney being declared Australia’s Most Sustainable Agency, and Formosa Morgan hailed as Australia’s Most Sustainable Agency Employee in December 2019 by Urban List.
Over the past 12 months under Formosa Morgan’s guidance, PHD has overhauled their workplace practices and implemented policies aimed at staff education, sustainable energy systems and waste management policies with the aim of reducing their landfill by 40% come 2022.
In April of this year PHD Australia was recognised as an Employer of Choice by HRD, rewarding PHD’s ‘People First’ ethos, with Formosa Morgan commenting: “We are incredibly proud to receive this accolade from HRD. Being recognised as an Employer of Choice is always an honour and PHD’s People First ethos has and will continue to be crucial to our business. I would like to congratulate our People Team’s strategic thinking, dedication to innovation and genuine care for our people.”
B&T’s Women in Media Power shortlist will be announced on Wednesday 23 September 2020. See the full list on B&T here.
