In the unprecedented conditions of 2020, it’s never been more important for HR professionals to remain on their toes when it comes to attracting and retaining talent.
The HRD Employer of Choice Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s top HR leaders, teams and organisations.
See the judges’ summary on why they selected PHD Australia as one of their winners below:
PHD Australia’s training strategy is geared to facilitate their people’s passion for learning as well as to enrich life beyond the workplace. Their training programme delivers training across 55 courses which include media skills, management & leadership, self-leadership, creativity, emotional intelligence, and personal wellbeing.
In addition to their existing fortnightly all-staff forum ‘The Big Meeting’, they introduced a quarterly ‘Bigger Meeting’ where the whole agency gets together to regroup on their agency vision.
The company shares updates on projects happening across the business. This ensures their people, including newcomers, are clear on where PHD is headed and regularly see examples of how they can contribute to the vision. In 2019, 89% of their people said information about the company is well communicated to their people.
Lucy Formosa-Morgan, Manager Director of PHD Australia said: “We are incredibly proud to receive this accolade from HRD. Being recognised as an Employer of Choice is always an honour and PHD’s People First ethos has and will continue to be crucial to our business. I would like to congratulate our People Team’s strategic thinking, dedication to innovation and genuine care for our people.”
