Georgia Protopapa, analytics director at PHD, will take part in this year’s Marketing Academy’s Scholarship. The programme aims to help executives develop the skills they need to take up senior and board-level roles.
In its 11th year, the much coveted Scholars programme attracted a record number of nominations. 700 marketers from brands, media owners and agencies competed for just 30 places.
The Scholarship will span 12 months this year, rather than the usual nine, to ensure the programme can be delivered in full. It will include virtual sessions and residential boot camps later in the year.
The Marketing Academy’s global CEO, Sherilyn Shackell, says: “This is the first year we can’t greet the new class in person, but we’re very much looking forward to getting to know them virtually. I have a suspicion that 2020 will prove to be a defining year for our entire community and I’m thrilled to be welcoming the new Scholars at a time when the need for connectivity, collaboration and inspiring leadership has never been higher.”
Marketing Week is the academy’s media partner.
