The Prix IDÉA competition brings together Quebec’s creative communication industry to celebrate big ideas and quality executions, inspiring excellence across a variety of disciplines. This week’s virtual awards ceremony was the first edition of the brand new Prix IDÉA awards which replaced the Prix Média, CRÉA and Boomerang.
Touché! stole the show by scooping 26 awards, including a coveted Grand Prix for their ‘Té lait roman’ campaign for Quebec Milk Producers, and being crowned the most awarded agency for the 13th year running. The agency also won three Gold, 12 Silver, and seven Bronze for their work with clients including Sport Chek, BRP, Birks, Boston Pizza and Radio-Canada.
The agency’s work with VIA Rail Canada earned two special mentions for the ‘Canadianisation’ campaign, as well as being at the heart of the Partner Award given to Radio-Canada for the same campaign.
PHD Montreal also picked up awards with Radio-Canada for their ‘Bringing young people back to Radio-Canada’ campaign – a Silver in the Best use of Media Mix CA$50,000 to CA$250,000 category, and a Bronze in the Best Use of Digital Media category.
In addition to the evening’s campaign awards, three Touché! employees also won individual prizes in the Prix de la Relève (succession) awards, namely Ariane Gélinas (Expertise), Nicolas Gagnon (Strategy) and Alexandra Cloutier (Expertise).
