Mark has been named as one of the top media planners in the UK and Asia Pacific. He has been nominated for numerous awards and is an active commentator within the industry.
1990 Mark started his career with Saatchi and Saatchi as a planner.
1998 He joined the Omnicom Group, firstly working at OMD, where he ran a planning group.
2001 He became Managing Director of PHD’s subsidiary planning-only agency, Rocket.
2004 Then moved over to PHD as Executive Planning Director.
2007 Mark packed his bags and took off to Australia to launch PHD in the market.
2010 And came back as Worldwide Strategy and Planning Director, taking responsibility for the network’s strategic planning capabilities around the world.
2013 Mark created SOURCE, the agency’s global online planning system…
2014 … and took on the challenge being the lead author of PHD’s books: Fluid, Overthrow, Game Change and Sentience: The Coming AI Revolution and the Implications for Marketing.
2015 Mark launched a mobile and tablet version of Source. The groundbreaking platform was also named winner of Adweek’s Project Isaac Awards, which recognises inventions in media, technology, marketing and advertising.
