This week, we were delighted that PHD UK was named at No.3 in the global Warc Media 100 Ranking, which tracks the performance of media agencies at the most influential media competitions worldwide.
Our Top 3 ranking also means PHD UK was the highest ranked media agency in both the UK and Europe.
The accolade follows one of the most awarded years of client work in PHD UK’s 32-year history for campaigns across clients including Volkswagen, British Heart Foundation, HSBC, Guinness, Timberland and Warner Bros.
As part of this awards success, one campaign in particular was recognised by Warc, with our ‘Eating Pollution’ work for Volkswagen named as the 3rd most awarded media campaign in the world last year.
‘Eating Pollution’ marked the launch of the ID.3 – VW’s first fully electric vehicle – with a series of commissioned murals painted with air purifying paint, which meant the ads were literally ‘eating’ pollution from the air around them.
Beyond the UK, PHD Worldwide jumped from fourth position to third in the most awarded media networks.
