PHD Lebanon teams up with Nusaned Association to support communities in need during COVID-19

News

PHD Lebanon partnered with humanitarian, community-based volunteer organisation Nusaned Association to help with their mission to support underserved individuals.

The PHD team used media, PR, influencer engagement and activations to contribute to this important cause.

Their communication strategy involved the development of three ‘hero’ programmes: Crops that Yield, Goods in Need, and Roofs that Shield. Together, they shed light on how communities can come together to create security, stability, and economic opportunities for the wellbeing of hundreds of Lebanese people.

PHD Lebanon also facilitated Nusaned’s partnership with Lebanese actor, director and sustainability advocate, Carmen Bsaibes. Carmen has participated in on-ground activations, visited renovated homes, and recently joined local communities to paint large scale awareness murals on a popular stairway and wall in Beirut.

“We are proud to proactively support Lebanese charities with their projects, to optimise their awareness and their search for help. We look forward to doing more and giving back to our communities during this challenging time,” comments Maroun Hassoun, General Manager of PHD Lebanon.

PHD as a global network is committed to raising millions in donations and contributing thousands of hours to good causes around the world through its Big Hug initiative.
