PHD Hungary added two Bronze and two Finalist awards to their shelves following this year’s Effie Awards Hungary. Introduced 18 years ago to the Hungarian market, Effie stands for effectiveness in marketing, spotlighting marketing ideas that work and encouraging thoughtful dialogue about the drivers of marketing effectiveness.
PHD Hungary’s work scooped four awards: a Bronze for Telenor’s ‘Xmas 2018’ campaign in the Seasonal Marketing category and another Bronze for the same campaign in the Services / Telecommunication category. Telenor’s ‘Mobile Number Portability’ campaign was a Finalist in the Services / Telecommunication category, along with Sió-Eckes’ ‘Xmas 2018’ campaign in the Seasonal Marketing category.
The Effie Awards were launched in 1968 by the New York American Marketing Association as an awards program to honour the most effective advertising efforts. The award now honours all forms of effective marketing and the companies and individuals creating effective work across the globe.
