During an exclusive party hosted by BT, The Marketing Academy announced the cohort of marketing executives selected for the 9th year of their coveted UK Scholarship Programme, with PHD Media’s Jessica Treasure among them.

Following a three-stage selection process that included over 400 nominations, 90 ‘pitches’ and 60 face-to-face interviews, The Marketing Academy UK has selected just 30 emerging leaders from client side brands, media owners, agencies and start-ups selected to attend its UK 2018 Scholarship Programme.

This free but highly selective leadership programme for talented brand, media and agency talent is designed to utilise the collective knowledge of the industry to develop their skills and prepare them for their journey towards board level business leaders.

The prestigious Scholarship Programme, sponsored this year by Facebook, ITV, Accenture, PHD, Virgin Atlantic and BT includes one-to-one mentoring with an enviable line up of over 50 industry mentors.

In addition, Scholars are each assigned an Executive Coach, attend three residential ‘boot camps’ packed with inspirational speakers, and experience four lectures hosted by renowned subject matter experts.

Alumni of the programme describe the Scholarship as ‘a once in a lifetime opportunity’, ‘transformational’ and ‘life changing’.

The Academy also announced its up-coming launch of the US Scholarship with the first programme opening for nominations in NYC in June.
