PHD New Zealand has announced the appointments of Dallas Gurney as general manager of Spark PHD & Activate and Jo Hartley as head of trading and investment for PHD.
Most recently, Dallas held the position of general manager group content marketing at NZME and replaces Robin Wilson who is returning to the UK. As general manager, Dallas will report into PHD CEO Louise Bond and is being charged with leading the business’ full-suite marketing communications offering including PR, Content, Social Media and Activation.
“Dallas has successfully led the business direction and people teams of prominent New Zealand organisations. We’re excited to have him join our business and have every confidence his depth of leadership experience and decades working across both editorial and advertising spaces will add significant value to our clients,” says Louise Bond.

Jo joins PHD from four and half years at Dentsu Aegis Network NZ where she was most recently trading director of the Group.

In addition, PHD also announced the promotion of Jodie Bennett to the role of director of investment and accountability. Jodie is a PHD veteran, having worked at the agency for ten years.
