For the fifth consecutive year, PHD UK is shortlisted for Media Agency of the Year in the 2018 Media Week Awards. It also marks the eighth time in the past decade that PHD UK received the nomination.

On top of the Media Agency recognition, PHD UK is also listed in four other categories.

Nominations for Media Creativity and Agency Media Idea – Launch come on the back of the Rammed with Confidence campaign for Volkswagen. The campaign aimed to bring driver confidence to life for VW’s new T-Roc SUV.

PHD UK is also shortlisted for Best Use of Audio for work on Virgin Atlantic’s winter sale. The team developed cut-through for the This Time It’s Personal campaign, creating 24,000 personalised digital audio ads.

The nominations are rounded out with nods to two PHD leaders. Mike Cooper, CEO PHD Worldwide, and Verica Djurdjevic, CEO PHD UK, are both shortlisted for Media Leader of the Year. The shortlist of media leaders was narrowed down from over 30 entrants.
