B&C has published its list of the top planners and strategists working in TV advertising which sees PHD Chicago’s account director, Tom Bell, named.

Speaking about getting into the business, Tom says “Like a lot of kids, I liked the commercials that were on TV.”  Tom went into the Illinois ad program thinking he would be a copywriter but emerged a media planner. “I didn’t even know it existed when I went there. But I’m pretty good at math, so I took to it pretty readily.”
