In Panama Ad agency P4 Ogilvy and Mather along with a local news show created motion sensitive devices over some of the worst potholes in the city . When a car drives over that device, it automatically sends a tweet to the Twitter account of Panama’s Ministry of Public Works. As a result of this positive trolling, potholes have started disappearing. Read more
Jaunt’s NEO camera promises immersive virtual reality films
Jaunt’s new NEO camera has made virtual reality an actual reality. Jaunt revealed the commercial version of its new virtual reality camera called NEO. The device can capture high-resolution 360 degree images, produce high dynamic range images, and capture time-lapse and high frame-rate images, not to mention it’s a filmmakers dream. While not currently available to the general public, it is suggested that consumer use of the product is a possibility in the near future. Read more

Vodaphone in Turkey helps combat domestic violence through an innocuous Smartphone App and discreet female-centric media placements.
Vodaphone Turkey has taken out the Cannes Award for Media with their Red Light App. With 30% of women in Turkey suffering from Domestic Violence –Vodaphone produced a unique app, helping women by notifying 3 of their closest friends when they were at risk. The Media strategy was executed to ensure that the existence of the Application was kept hidden via targeting Female content. Watch here
